Raise Your Heads

Psalm 110

Singing our experience of war and our beloveds who serve.

Verse 1:

From the womb of the dawn comes the morning dew,

comes the morning dew.

On the day they are called rise your faithful youth,

rise your faithful youth.

Raise your heads, raise your heads

Raise your heads, raise your heads

Verse 2:

Coming home from the war kneels the winning king,

kneels the winning king.

See his face as he moves drinking from the stream,

drinking from the stream.

Verse 3:

When the smoke all has cleared and the battle's done,

and the battle's done

When the cost has been dear for the justice won,

for the justice won
