Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all my life.

 

This love is my shepherd;

I need nothing more.

She leads me into lush pastures

       and alongside calm waters.

My life is renewed today.

Guiding me on the best paths,

       even as I move in fear and darkness,

       this love is with me.

Anointed and blessed with abundance, I thrive

       with a table prepared

       in spite of my enemies

       and my secret fears.

My soul lacks for nothing now.

       in the presence
